The seven year’s War

The French and Indian War, Part of the Global conflict known as the 7-year war, began on 17th May (1754-1763). The French and Indian War, which began in 1754, was a pivotal conflict in North America between the British and French colonies, with each side supported by various Native American tribes.

It started over territorial disputes in the Ohio River Valley. The war saw dramatic events like the British defeat at Fort Necessity and the critical victory at Quebec. By the time it ended in 1763 with the Treaty of Paris, Britain had gained significant territory, and French colonial influence in North America was effectively over.

Battle of Kannauj, 1540

In medieval history, the Battle of Kannauj and Chausa is significant. The battles demonstrate how the Sur kingdom became well-known by undermining the renowned Mughal empire’s foundation, which Mughal King Babur had established.

The battle of Kannauj was fought between Sher Shah Suri of the Sur Dynasty and the Mughal Emperor Humayun. This battle is also known as the Battle of Bilgram.
